  • Judith came to North Carolina from New York City by way of her volunteer work on an environmental project. She started her career in Social Security disability law after managing housing programs for people with disabilities in the NC state mental health system. She quickly saw that she could better serve with her legal expertise, and she started her disability law practice in 2005. Judith is certified by the NC Bar as a specialist in Social Security disability law, and is a member of the NY Bar. With her unique background in nursing and law she is well suited to handling disability cases. Her extensive experience in health care includes oncology, hospice, and pediatrics. She has also practiced employment law, representing employees, with the NYC firm of Eisenberg and Schnell, LLC. Prior to that, she worked for the Legal Aid Society in NYC for more than ten years, including as the assistant managing attorney for the Criminal Appeals Bureau, and with a Buffalo law firm handling medical malpractice cases. In addition to being committed to her clients and community, she is devoted to her family, friends and pets. She loves to travel, cook, laugh, walk, run, practice yoga, ride her bike, swing on a hammock, and simply be.
